Photographing interiors for an interior designer is a great way to show off the designer’s work. Photographers need to use the right lighting and angles to capture the space in its best possible way. Natural lighting is best, but you may have to use artificial lighting if the space is dark or the designer wants to highlight certain elements.
It is important to take multiple shots from different angles to ensure that all the details of the interior design can be seen. Additionally, post–editing is required to make sure the images look professional and true to the actual space. This can involve adjusting lighting, sharpening details, and adjusting the white balance. With the right equipment and techniques, photographers can create stunning images of interiors for interior designers.
This set of images was taken at a house in Broadway in the Cotswolds. It has been newly renovated and the interior designer wanted to photograph the work for her portfolio. This was a half day shoot incorporating many of the rooms in the house.
