On the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Banbury is this newly renovated home. The brief for the interior designer was to breathe new life into a ground floor which was also due to have an extension to the rear.

This series of vital home spaces needed transforming into a cohesive oasis of style and comfort. Every corner of the reinvigorated ground floor echoed thoughtful design, starting from the welcoming embrace of the light and airy hallway.

The floor was fitted with vinyl wood by Karndean with a herringbone pattern throughout leading to a crittall door opening out to the living and kitchen area. Meanwhile the boot room and cloakroom were a symphony of textures and tones, expertly blending form with function.

The choice of unique wallpaper for the cloakroom echoed the blue metro tiles and gold fittings added the finishing touches.

The heart of the home, the kitchen, showcased an avant-garde transformation. From rustic shaker style cabinets to modern installations, each angle captured bore testament to a space reborn, where culinary dreams could vividly come alive and entertaining was definitely the purpose. Adjacent to it stood the utility room, photographed to accentuate its newfound efficiency and sleek design.

The pièce de résistance was undeniably the open-plan lounge area. Wide-angle shots chronicled a space that beckoned for family gatherings, a seamless fusion of style and comfort. The light from the ceiling lanterns danced on the walls making it an airy inviting space, no matter the season.

The exploration of this home through the interior photography showcases the interior design and attention to detail created by the designer.
